It was a perfect spring day. The grouse were drumming, their wings thumping the balmy air, the fish were jumping, splashing and showing their sleek forms in the tannin water, the birds were building nests all around us, and the sun's rays were creating creek art that took our breath away when we discovered it.
First, I saw the highlighted balsam fir branches and I said, "Over this way, Jeff." Then I saw the wine and tannin colored water at the creek bank that reached out to the glimmering ripples of the spring melt off. I snapped several photos and am happy to have different angles of this scene. It was spectacular, as if we had stepped into a magical forest. Beyond earthly.
God has blessed me in many ways. I thank him for the gifts around me and for having a camera. It's a highlight of my life discovering scenes to photograph. And the companionship I share with Jeff on the nature trails keeps our marriage happy and our hearts light. :D What more could I want?
Have a super Monday!!!
Hugs, JJ

Another super photo, JJ!!
You've blessed us all by sharing your wonderful photos. It's great to 'see' nature through your eyes. You make it even more beautiful!

Tambra, thank you so much for visiting and for the compliments. :D This is a special moment. I know how busy you are with your writing. :D
And Donna Michaels, a multi-pubbed novella author, whom I am proud of too!!! How exciting. Thank you.
Donna and I met at eHarl. and she is a Hood with me. Tambra and I are Mermaids together. If you are dedicated to becoming pubbed, find critique partners(cps). They are great for support and guidance. It's amazing how much faster you learn the writing craft in a group.
Spending time reading other writer's work also helps you figure out what genres you wish to write for. These ladies are beautiful romance writers; whereas, I turned more to inspirational and mainstream.

JJ:
The Magical Forest. What a wonderful way to describe nature's beauty. You are truly lucky to live in a place where you can experience the wilderness in its raw form.
Great picture to illustrate your post, along with your gentle words and heartfelt sense of expression.
Have another wonderful day.

Such a beautiful photo--doesn't it seem like just yesterday you were posting photos of snow and ice? The seasonal changes are so dramatic and inspiring!
Nice to see!
Jen, I still have my fingers crossed the snow is gone for the season. :D WOOT to all the new growth. I have baby maple leaves. :D Thank you!!! We'll celebrate together. Winter did hang on a long time. Must have had a rejuvenation shot at the end.
Swahilya, thank you. :D My eyes are happy each morning to see new greens and reds bursting from buds everywhere.:D
