Guess What This Is?

This morning the temp reads 0 degrees as Jeff and I begin the cabin fever time of winter. We're socked in except for our jaunts downtown. But Jeff and I love to use our imaginations to entertain each other while we wait out the arctic cold that has crept into our bones. Guess what this photo is? :D

Many of you know I have a book coming out next summer where I provided the photos. The book information isn't posted yet, but I can give you the link for my new professional website. Tell me what you think. Rae Monet designed it and has done a great job. Thanks, Rae. :D. I wanted to surprise you and show you that dreams can come true. It's been one great nature adventure. Jeff even helped out by providing the template photo for my site...I am the one under the baseball cap. :D

Have I told you lately how much I looooove my hubby!!! :D He has been so supportive, helping arrive at my destinations and carrying my camera bag and tripods around while I wrestled with the two cameras hanging from my neck, not complaining if I told him I needed him to take me to the moon. :D

I also will begin an inspirational blog for my new website that has nature photos and musings about Bible passages. This blog will also continue.

Have a super Sunday!

Hugs JJ/Nancy

LOL Nature Lovin'. :D I wore gloves all through church. Brrr. The car seat was rather hard on the ride over. We don't have seat warmers.

I'll post when my new blog has begun. :D

That's a great looking website. Nice work. I've always loved you photos. And, of course, the beautiful country where you live must be an inspiration to record the very best images you can.

Looking forward to see ing your book.

Happy trails.

Thank you, Swu. I'm excited for the book's release date. Can't wait to post that information. :D

Michigan is a photographer's dream when it comes to a variety of landscapes and there are soooo many fresh water lakes around. We're surrounded by three of the Great Lakes. Only the bottom of Michigan makes a peninsula.

Shellmo, thank you, hon. Don't we love Northern Michigan!!!

Shellmo is giving a talk at the Michigan Audubon Society because of her birding blog. Check her link out. :D

I'm sooooo proud of you, Shell!!!!!

Chris, one family member said it looks like a colonoscopy. ROFL. I looove Sadia's take on it.

I'm happy you enjoyed my new website and thank you for bookmarking it. :D

Sadia, that is BEAUTIFUL!!! Great imagery. :D Thank you!!! Have a super 2009. :D

Bob, you can go to the moon first. :D Although I doubt we could get you to travel back. :D You would blog from the moon.

You know, I had a dream that I was on an alien spacecraft. We were leaving the solar system because the sun was only a dull orange blob in the sky.

Thank for enjoying the new website. :D

Sadia, that is beautiful, hon. :D

Thank you, Robb. The weatherman said brutal weather is heading this way. We are warm and toasty. I pray all the homeless find shelter. Our area shelter said it has lots of beds and food.

My first project has been completed and I have sent the galley in. Now I wait for the book release. :D

Wow, your new site looks GREAT, JJ!
She did a great job with the web design!

As for your photo, might it be the red-hot inside of your stove pipe?

Stay warm!!!

J said...

Thank, Lynda. Isn't Rae Monet marvelous!!!

You have guessed one half of the answer. The wood stove was involved. :D

Great answer.

JJ that looks like throat picture, lol, did you ever watch CSI, sometimes they show inside bodies. I will take a guess some kind of rippled pipe, but the red color I cannot figure out.
Love your new site...nice picture of you. BTW when the books is released can I buy your book with your autograph? Excellent post my friend. Anna :)

Nature Nut /JJ Loch said...

Anna, you and Lynda have guessed the photo. Jeff held crinkly pipe to the glass in front of the woodstove and I snapped the shot. :D

You guys are good to figure that out!!!

Thank you for enjoying the new site. :D I will post the book information on the site as soon as possible and will check into autographed copies.

You are dear friend. :D

Sorry I haven't commented much lately but I have been reading- always reading. I'm glad to hear things are going so well minus a tidbit of cabin fever. :) Happy writing to you! :D

Hi JJ! What an awesome site! Now that you've got it up and running and that the book will be out soon, does this mean Jeff can retire to a life of luxury?

Take Care,
Peter
