Frozen Forms

The sun has begun to melt the snow away in Michigan, a welcome sight!, but not before I found this amazing scene waiting for a photo. :D It was a treasure find...something unique to my other photos of the season. I love the shading and lighting and the shape of the ice shard and the tiny snowball. Finding them next to each other had me smiling. God's creation ROCKS!!!

If I would have stayed inside and not walked along the shoreline of Lake Huron, I would have missed this. It makes me wonder what else I have missed when I chose to stay inside.

Have a happy Tuesday. God wants us to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us. :D It brings perspective back to one's life. Many changes are happening in my life this year and this photo tells me to keep focused.

Next I'll show you the "snow fish". :D

Hugs, JJ

JJ wow this is so beautiful, you are so right 'God's creation ROCKS!!!'. BTW thanks for remembering Matthew's nine months. It was special day for us, as he was 9 months in and 9 months out, lol. You know he is such a good boy, and poor thing is scared of doctors, lol. JJ excellent post as always. Anna :)

Wow, what a stunning photograph - the ice shard focusing the sunlight is especially eye-catching.

Cheers!

Nice! I also wonder about things "missed" -like when there isn't enough time to turn down an interesting road or take the next trail. Glad you trekked out for this one!

Mithe, I wish you could have held the snow too. :D There were ice shards that Jeff held and I snapped photos through. :D

Thanks. :D

Jan4, it was an amazing sight to see the sunlight reflection and the pattern it made on the snow.

Thanks. :D

Heather, I bet we would both live outside if possible. :D

Thanks. :D

It's the shadow pattern behind the ice shard that makes this such an interesting photo. Keep venturing out.

Nature Lovin', woot!!! that you snowshoed. :D We have some snow left but if we don't have another storm it'll all melt in February. Talk about wishful thinking. :D

Suzanne, I love light and shadow play in a photo. :D Thanks, hon.

Hi! They remind me of a husband and wife weathering the storms that lay before them. With time both will fade but will never be forgotten, hopefully!

Take Care,
Peter
