JJ on Ice LOL

This photo of myself snapping a photo from an icy perch sums up the winter season in Northern Michigan. Notice the red face. LOL It has been a hardy winter and I am glad to know that March follows February on the calendar. Spring! We have snow falling today...the storm headed our way after it blasted California... but I have seen the signs of spring yawning. The birds bright mating colors are appearing in subtle ways, the tree buds have begun to swell, the seagulls and rock doves have returned, the air has a tang of life to it. The sunshine glows golden.

I'm ready to pack away my winter clothes!!! Ah, but not yet.

I'm ready to snap photos of beautiful fragrant flowers and butterflies and I'm ready to watch the grass grow. Sigh. Just a little more time and I will have my wish.

Dear hubby snapped the above photo. How sweet of him. :D

Good morning, dear friends. I will have my new blog up and running by tomorrow. The book I provided the photos for is now posted at Amazon and Barnes and Noble!!! How amazing and exciting that this happened to me. I will have a link for it on the new Bible inspirational/ nature photo blog.

Never give up on your dreams. Wonderful things do happen. Keep your energy flowing. God Bless You!!!

Hugs, JJ

JJ congratulations and I cannot wait to see it. You deserve it all. BTW nice photo of you, and at first glance I thought you were lying on top of the frozen shark's head, lol. Your images always have something nice hiding, way to go Jeff too. Anna :)

Kia ora JJ,
Just as your icy world now reveals subtle signs of spring, ours here in the southern hemisphere hints of fall, the crispness and light of morning in particular. Though I always look forward to traveling in the mountains in fall. I can smell them now! You have inspired a post in me JJ!
Look forward to checking out your new blog and book. Have a warm day.
Aroha,
Robb

Shell. thank you!!! I will have the blog running today. I am trying to keep up with everything. :D

The coat was from Wal*Mart a couple of years ago. It isn't too bulky and I love it.

Mithe, Thank you. Jeff snapped the photo. I don't post many pics of myself on the blog and thought I was due for one. :D

Mark, ah, thanks. Dreams do come true. :D

Anna, SQUEE!!! What a moment in my life. Thanks, hon.

Looove the shark's head vision. :D

Another red face today, Nature Lovin'. :D The wind is howling. Jeff has just gone to set the mailbox back on its post. The snowplow whacked it off.

Thank you for the encouragement. I'm soooo excited. Glad you enjoyed the pic. :D

Robb, I was wondering if your world had started the season change. I am going to tell that howling wind it's on the way out. :D

Your autumn images in the mountains will rock!!!

Thank you for your encouragement. :D

Dear readers, you are the BEST!!!

I will blog visit as soon as I have the new blog posted.

Hugs, JJ

JD, we are in a snowstorm now. But I need more winter pics so will not complain this time. :D It's warm outside and not polar bear weather. I can handle that.

Bob, if only I could take a whale ride. I can imagine the underwater shots I'd get. :D

Peter, both and and Bob saw the same thing. :D Don't you loooove natural ice formations!!!

Thank you, dear friends!!!
