Blog to End World Hunger Day!

Today bloggers unite to post entries to draw attention to ending world hunger. My heart goes out to the more than 500 million people who are starving and emaciated because they have no nourishment and are losing hope. In this day of famine, flooding, volcanoes, tsunamis, hurricanes and floods, and poor economic times, we must join together to help those in need.

You can make a difference today by providing a bowl of rice by clicking on a graphic at the World Hunger site. For free you feed someone who is struggling to live each day. Let's make a difference!!! Let's unite for Hunger and Hope and start making this universe turn the way it should. We can make a difference as drops of rain make the vegetables grow.

God bless you :D Life is a miracle.

Hugs, JJ

Although I appreciate the sentiment, studies show that if everyone who plays "rice bowl" games or visit "click to feed the hungry" sites just donated $5 to the cause instead, a LOT more would get done. I'll continue to donate to the local food bank, myself.

Lana, donations do work well. :D And clicking to provide a bowl of rice does help to feed the hungry. I believe everything works together. Many people are losing their homes now because of the economy and clicking to help someone out may be the only thing they can do at the moment.

We also have our local food banks. There are many ways to work with feeding the hungry.

Merging Point, thank you, dear. I looove that the Internet provides ways to help others through clicking.

Bunka, point well made. Some people could live a lifetime on what some spend in one month.

I see this post has heightened emotions and that's great. We all need to pitch in and help if we can.

Hi JJ, such a nice gesture. You know sometimes I hear complaints in my family that they don't have enough or food does not taste well, so I tell them there are people who don't even have that, and then they stop. Hope you are doing well, and how is your dad? Trying to catch up, and in the midst of that Matthew got a bit fever in the past couple of days. But he is little trooper. I cannot believe that he is now walking by himself. Let go the hands 3 days after his bday. JJ thanks for all your comments on my blog, always appreciated. Anna :)
