Blooming Purple Crocus

After a long winter the sight of a crocus in bloom makes one jump for joy! YAY! Life begins again. Crocus flowers don't like wind and rain and they only last a week or so before they fall over, but I had fun snapping photos of them while they kissed the sun.

The yellow daffodils have swollen buds so they will pop open soon to nod their beautiful heads and glow in the moonlight. Then the wild cherry trees will blossom, looking like white brides in the forest.

My heart pumps faster with the excitement of enjoying every day that isn't a blanket of snow. Spring, thank you for finally showing up!

Life begins again.

I also have updated my inspirational blog. The June 1st book release comes closer! I'm soooo excited and hope that cancer patients will smile when they look at my nature photos and that they will have a moment to relax while they read the inspirational text written by two authors. You can find the book information on that blog.

Have a super day! I will catch up with my blog visits soon. :D

Hugs, JJ

Kia ora JJ,
Such a lovely colour! Happy spring my friend. I will check out your site in due course. Have done the Relay for Life here in Palmerston North for 5 years now. The midnight candle ceremony always brings a lump to my throat and remind me why we are doing this.

Robb

I'm pleased you finally have a show of spring but of course that is bad news for us and in fact, even though it's still warm, today it's raining and overcast.

Robb, thank you. I love the connection you have with the universe and the people in it. You are very inspiring to know.

Sadia, thank you. I am wondering what beautiful colors you have posted and will hop over to your magnificent paintings today. :D

Swu, thank you. The cherry blossoms are about to burst and I am soooo EXCITED. It's raining today. Water drops on the white blossoms make a great photo subject. :D

Lana, thank you. I know how you delight in nature too. God sure has blessed us with wonder views. :D

Suzanne, the wind howled all night and the cold rain continues today. We have had a couple of great days but winter sure doesn't want to let go. I hope your cold weather holds off a bit so you can enjoy the sunshine.

Hapi, hello! Glad you stopped by.

Keyword, I'll check that out. Thanks.

Hugs, JJ

Oh JJ life does begin again. This is such a beautiful photo of the crocus, too bad that they last that short. BTW congrats on the publishing of the book again. Anna :)

Anna, thank you. :D The daffodils are about to pop open and I can't wait for those photos. :D Don't you loooove the new awakening each year!!!

I'm thrilled that God has given me a chance to reach many others to comfort them with my nature photos while they are fighting cancer. I have found spiritual strength by connecting to God's Creation while dealing with my own illnesses. I pray that deeper faith shines through in what I snap.

Hugs, JJ
