The Freaky Tree!!!

This Northern White Cedar tree lurks on my land and makes me jump every time I see it. LOL With shots like this, I can see how science fiction movies came about. Notice the human head on the "snake" and the princess riding on its coiling back. My sneakers sank into the muck as I snapped this shot and my imagination ran wild. I didn't stay long. The tree looked parasitic. LOL

What do you see in this photo? It's a fun picture to explore, and then muse about other-worldly creepy crawling things. Perhaps this creature lived in the deep recesses of the earth and somehow became frozen in time when he ventured out. :D Wonder what was chasing him?

That is one interesting tree and I don't think I would have stayed with it long either! I can see the right half of the tree swallowing the left half :shiver:

What was chasing him? Maybe a lady with a camera... wouldn't THAT be ironic, ha!

JJ:

It reminds me of the scene in the movie Alien, when the astronauts discovered the alien spaceship and the giant space traveler inside, dead, yet mummified.

I can see this in the trunk of the tree, and the protruding alien spilling out from the opening, yet mummified in mid motion.

You have some scary stuff around your house.

Happy trails.

Heather, that WOULD be ironic. LOL
Good morning, dear. I'm recuperating today from a surgery, but have a great read, THE ALEXANDER CIPHER by Will Adams.

Swu, Jeff sees tons of alien action in the freaky tree photo too. :D

Shellmo, thank you, hon. :D We never know what we will see in nature. :D

Now this is a great tree. Mine are all boring...the occasional one may have a face (if I let my imagination work) but not as pronounced as this one. I plan to start carving wood spirits in a row a trees that line the woods road on my property (sometime this fall). When I'm done I'll post you a picture JJ.
Hope you're feeling better. Have a great week and God bless!

Nature Lovin', thank you! What a tree. :D Keep your eyes open. You must have something like this in your area too.

JD, thank you! You have a fun project ahead of you.

God bless you, dear friend. :D

I'm up and down today. Will be glad when I am over the recuperation time.

Thanks, Bob. :D Glad you enjoyed the surreal pic.

I hope your weather has warmed. We had a good rainstorm last night. That should bring out the vegetation. :D

Oh wow JJ I can see a big giant arm with squirrels crawling into the palm. You are so right about the science fiction. This photo is really something else. Anna :)

Anna, thank you. :D That is one weird tree. Jeff said that it won't ever come down with his chainsaw. LOL
