Don't you love apple blossoms! They are so cheery to spend camera time with while watching the sunrise wash the sky golden. Was outside at 5:30 AM snapping more orchard shots.
My first book signing is tomorrow. Wish me luck. I actually bought a dress for the occasion, not having worn one for twenty years. Somewhere along the way I switched to pant suits. The dress print has flowers so I will be in my element wearing it. :D Had a hard time finding shoes my size to match but after several stores, Tada! Success! I am not a shopper. Would rather spend time outdoors with all the blessings God has given us than drifting down endless aisles of products.
Spring has advanced to lilac time and the lily of the valleys are also blooming. The sun-warmed fragrance delights me as soon as I open the door. If we had no mosquitoes, this time of year could last forever. It's so new and fresh and makes one smile.
Blessings! JJ...I added a book signing photo. Jeff's parents said I could post it.:D

Kia ora JJ,
I can smell those fragrant blossoms from here. Thank you for being my virtual springtime place! My best wishes and congrats on the book and may you wear out a few pens at the signing!
Aroha,
Robb
Congratulations! I so wish I could be there for that book signing.
(I've tried to email you back three times now and that silly mail program keeps kicking back my message. I forwarded your message to my hotmail addy and that took away YOUR addy :( when you have a sec, drop me a line at laineybancroft AT hotmail dot com so I can respond, pretty please. The other email I had for you got returned as well)
Have a fabulous time at the signing!!!! oxo
I'm not a great shopper either and head away from the cities every chance I get.
Have fun at your book signing. You're our own personal celebrity.
Nice picture, congrats on the book and happy book signing.
JJ:
A million congratulations for you. There you are smiling at your first book signing. You look as happy as a little kid on Christmas day. I wish you all the best and I hope that you have many more book signings in your future.
Now for the truth. I am so envious!LOL
Happy trails.
Congratulations JJ!

Robb, thank you. The lilacs are blooming now but it's raining so I'll have to wait for a photo. Can't wait to fill the house with their scent. Spring ROCKS with the full life it gives us in Michigan.
I had an AWESOME time at the book signing. :D Met many beautiful people.
Lainey, I have posted on your blog. We definitely are having email problems.
I know you would have been at the book signing had you lived closer. :D I hope we meet one day. I met Kathi from the Hood a few weeks ago. :D
Suzanne, I think of myself as blessed. :D God sure is a mover and a shaker. Thank you, hon. :D And I know you will have great success.
Fruitu, thank you, dear. I'm grateful to know you through blogging!!!
Swubird, it WAS Christmas. :D And the thought of helping others with my work has me dreaming of never stopping what I'm doing. The crux of life is that we are here to serve others. That brings that big smile to the face. :D
Thank you, dear friend. And I hope you ARE published soon.
Merging Point, EXACTLY!!! How beautifully expressed. AMEN.
Hugs, JJ
JJ,
You look beautiful!

Tambra
I'm so proud of you!!! I'm so glad you had a good signing experience, and you looked as radiant as I know you are!
Tambra, thank you. :D What a memory to cherish.
Liane, my cheeks are still glowing. :D You know how much I worked towards this and how great it is the Lord took me by the hand and saw me through the whole experience. :D
Your support means everything to me!!!
Big Hugs, JJ
Great shot JJ, I love apple blossoms, both our neighbors have them, only sad part is they don't last all summer. And WOO HOO!!!! congratulations on your first book signing, that is way too cool, looks like you are having lots of fun.
Congratulations JJ. A very nice photo of you, you look sooooo happy, and beautiful on the outside, but inside too. Hey I am the same way, I rather spend time outside than on the shopping mall, but I love shopping for groceries, and may be one day I will be harvesting my own. Congratulations JJ again, you deserve all that, your hard work been is showing amazing results. Anna :)
Thank you. Bob. :D Those apple blossoms only last a week or so and only a couple of days where they don't look battered by the wind and cold. I'm amazed such tender petals can survive at all in the windy and rainy environment. But they are beautiful to see. :D
Anna, thanks, hon. Jeff is trying to grow a garden this year. The tomato plants still haven't been planted because of the frost, but maybe he'll plant them today. :D You would loooove harvesting your own garden. We had asparagus and radishes already.
Hugs,
JJ
I just read about your book signing JJ - a bit late but congratulations! And you look great there at the bookshop with that huge smile. Congrats again!
Thank you, Kat. :D
Hugs, JJ
