Unfolding Wild Rose

A wild rose unfolds in the morning dew. How beautiful to see. How lovely to catch the pure fragrance in the light breeze as I embrace a new day. How great it is to be here on this earth at this time and in this place.

Pink wild roses remind me of carefree summers as a kid when I would dance across fields of high wild grass and pick wild strawberries. Their ruby essence full of flavor unsurpassed.

(This photo flipped on the upload again.)

My inspirational blog has also been updated. You can see a photo of Jeff's handmade door which is made of cedar, aspen and pine.

Have a day full of blessings and happiness.

Hugs, JJ

That is a beautiful image. Well done.

Happy trails.

Thank you, Swu. :D This summer has been a stilted one for wild flower shots. Hardly any have bloomed this year, so when I find something I like I go for it. Where are all the dandelions? How amazing not seeing those sweeping the landscape.

You have such a lovely way with words, and I feel what you feel when you describe these scenes.
Lucky you with your summer days. Since getting back from Peru, it has been cold and raining here in New Zealand.

Lovely photo of a familiar friend.

It was blackberries for me. Wild blackberries. The field's edge where we first picked them is long gone to "progress". We do get them at the edge of the woods where I now live, but it's always a race to find them before the deer!

Hi Indavao.

Suzanne, thank you and I can't WAIT for your Peru blog posts!!!

We have rain today also. Two days so far have actually felt like the old summer we know and love. Are supposed to live through the dog days of summer now, but it still is late spring weather.

Heather...or the bears!!! We have wild blackberries here that are making a come back. The wild turkeys love to snack on berries too. I just about have a heart attack when big bird flies from the bushes right by me. LOL

Thank you, hon.

Robb, WOOT!!! that I brought Michigan to your home. :D Thank you.

Sadia, thank you, dear. :D I'm happy you enjoyed the post.
