Swubird, we do have cold weather headed our way but today is sunny and Jeff and I could have camped had we the time. :D I'm glad you enjoyed the photo. You need a woodstove for the winter weather. That way you stay toasty warm and that keeps the winter inviting. I miss the woodstove in the spring. But I am sure you'll hear me complain about the long winter in a few months. LOL

Greg, the naked trees do make a statement. It is unbelievably quiet outside. Thanks for pointing that out.

From your beautiful picture, it looks like you are in for some changing weather. Maybe some rain. Maybe some snow. My sympathies. I love the looks of snow, but I could never take the cold too well. For some reason I freeze down to the bone. My uncle was the same way. He couldn't even go in a swimming pool that wasn't heated. And he grew up at the beach!

Bitter chocolate, we all seek God in a way we can identify with. It's a beautiful process. He's a great friend. :D When I grew up I more heard about the fire and brimstone version of God and that made me quake. But all that time he was saying God is Love and wanting to be my friend. Once that was understood, the deeper relationship developed. :D
