Important Things that You Need to Bring When Nature Camping

Preparation for your camping outing is crucial for any outdoor adventure. You need to have the right tools, the essential supplies and equipment to make your nature camping an enjoyable experience. Camping Tents

First you will need to have a tent, going nature camping is not complete without a tent. Your tent will be your only shield from the harmful rays of the sun, the chilly winds, and it will keep you from getting wet when it rains. Outdoor Cooking Supplies

If you are going to public campgrounds most of those places have camp grill and picnic table at each campsite so you will only need to bring charcoal and your cooking tools to make grilled steaks, grilled hot dogs, or hamburgers. However, if you are going to a place with no camp grill bring propane stove with you. Also don't forget your skillet and pots, so that you can cook your meals.

First Aid Kit

When you are outdoors you need to be ready since cuts, scratches, burns, and bruises is bound to happen which is why it is important to bring a first aid kit. Don't do camping without it.

Matches or a lighter

Unless you know how to make fire using sticks and stones, you will need matches or lighter to start a fire. Fire is very important to cook your food, heat and sterilize your water, and keep you warm at night.

Rope

You can have a lot of uses for a rope when you are nature camping, you can use it to create a shelter, tow your friend when hiking or swimming, or crossing a river, you can also use it to make a clothes line to dry wet garments.

Tarps

Tarps can be use as an extra protection for your ten by placing it at the bottom. You can also create extra tent using tarps. Tarps are easy to pack since it occupies less space and it is very lite.

Light (Flashlight, Headlamp, or lantern)

At night you need a stable source of light so that you can see where are you going. When going camping make sure that they are working and the batteries have enough power in them. Bring extra batteries just to be sure.

Swiss Army Knife or Pocket Knife

This is a camping essential you will have a lot of use for it like cutting sticks of wood, fish, rope, etc. The Swiss Army Knife is also equipped with a saw, a scissor, a corkscrew, etc.

Maps and Compass

If you are out in a remote camping spots the GPS in your phone will probably not work. So, if you want to find your way to your destination you will need these old tools of navigation.

Cell phone
